Keep in mind when you develop, revise or add to your safety manual, that one manual does not fit all companies. These safety manuals are offered only as a guide and assume that the company has someone responsible for implementing its programs. The responsible safety person should consider the contents of these model manuals and modify it to fit your company's operations. Some companies will not need all the parts to these programs while other companies might add to the programs. Please remember, a Safety Manual is only valuable if it is used and updated. Your Insurance Carrier is another great place to gather information for policies, programs and safety manuals.
